Maintenance, security and optimisation

Website and store maintenance with clear responsibilities

A website needs attention after launch. Updates, forms, orders and external integrations all need checking. We handle agreed technical tasks and plan the improvements your site needs.

What maintenance means in practice

A broken form or checkout step can mean a missed enquiry or order. Maintenance covers those important actions as well as the software and settings behind them.

We review the platform, access and backups first. Existing problems are separated from recurring work so the initial scope is clear.

What a support plan can cover

  • Platform and extension updates, with compatibility checks.
  • Backup frequency, storage and recovery arrangements.
  • Checks of agreed forms, ordering, payment and integration workflows.
  • User permissions and known technical security issues.
  • Investigation of slow pages and specific performance improvements.
  • Smaller content or functional changes within the agreed time allowance.

Larger development tasks are assessed separately.

Extra care for online stores

A store connects products, stock, checkout, payment and delivery. An update can affect just one step. We define sample journeys and suitable times for changes.

When a stock system or courier integration is involved, we agree who monitors the data exchange and how an issue with an external provider is escalated.

How requests are handled

  1. Review the starting condition and any initial repair work.
  2. Agree included activities, priorities and the request channel.
  3. Make changes and verify affected functions, using staging where appropriate.
  4. Report completed work and highlight items requiring a separate decision.

What affects the cost?

The platform, technical condition, integrations and frequency of changes all matter. So do the hours and response arrangements you require. An information website and a busy store have different support needs.

We agree time allowances, additional work and external service costs. Initial response and full resolution are different commitments and are defined separately where applicable.

Common questions

Can you maintain another team's website?

Yes, after a technical review and access check. We establish what can be supported and whether initial repairs are needed.

Does support include round-the-clock response?

Working hours, urgent cases and response targets are agreed explicitly. They are not assumed to be included in every plan.

Is having a backup enough?

A backup needs to be current, accessible and recoverable. We agree what is copied, where it is stored and how recovery is checked.

Is SEO included?

Technical fixes can help, but ongoing SEO also involves content, structure and analysis. Those activities are identified separately in the scope.

Where do you work?

Studio Algorithm is based in Sofia. Technical work can be organised remotely, with communication and access arrangements agreed for the project.
